Pediatric Rehabilitation Physician

Overview Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is seeking a Pediatric Rehabilitation Physician to join our team. We are affiliated with Totally Kids which offers outstanding rehabilitation services for infants, children, adolescents and young adults up to 21 years of age. We offer first‑class care in a family‑friendly environment with board‑certified physicians and specially trained staff ensuring that each child’s medical needs are met with expertise, compassion and respect. Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is affiliated with Loma Linda University Medical Center, Children’s Hospital and School of Medicine, with the mission to deliver whole‑person care at a world‑class level of clinical excellence. The Medical Center serves as the largest tertiary referral source in both Riverside and San Bernardino counties with a surrounding population approaching 4 million. Opportunities Inpatient acute rehab for ages 0 to 21, including a new program for infants coming out of the NICU with feeding difficulty, delayed milestones and anxiety with handling. Outpatient practice, largely involving CP, spasticity management (ITB and Botulinum), with potential for more involvement in multidisciplinary clinics, including the Home Ventilator clinic (SMA, MD, Severe CP), Hypertonicity/SDR clinic, Spina Bifida, high‑risk infant program and Muscular Dystrophy clinic. Education: PMR residency program teaching opportunities. Research: Faculty are supported to pursue research, including multiple projects within the new Totally Infants’ Program at Totally Kids. Lifestyle Call: Likely participation in on‑call pool for Adult Inpatient Rehab units/teams, dependent on availability and necessity. Hours: Typically 8:00 – 5:30 pm, but Fridays are usually earlier. Pace: Patient visit length roughly 20‑30 minutes for returns and 30‑40 minutes for new patients; this could be flexible for a new‑hire. Compensation & Benefits Base compensation range for a starting physician: $210,000 – $250,000, adjusted based on years of experience and/or faculty rank. This does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. California residency is required upon start date; this position is not eligible for a Conrad 30 Waiver. Location Loma Linda University is located between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in an area known as the Inland Empire. The specific practice location is LLU Faculty Medical Group.
