- Set welding machine voltage and wire speed to ensure proper metal fusion.
- Read and follow detailed drawings and standard work instructions.
- Produce complex welded assemblies while meeting quality standards and close tolerances.
- Operate welding equipment which may include robotic gas welding equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment.
- Inspect finished welds for defects, including weld spatter, rough welds, missing welds and sharp edges.
- Ensure all completed work meets quality and safety requirements.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Working knowledge of blueprint reading preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and welding procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing 25-50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to stand and/or walk throughout an 8-12-hour shift.
- Frequent physical activity, including pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and reaching.
- Ability to perform physical duties throughout the entire shift.
- $22.50 per hour
- 2nd shift schedule
- Monday-Thursday workweek
- Friday overtime as needed
