RN - PACU

Registered Nurse - PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)

This position requires working 12-hour evening shifts, specifically from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, including weekends as scheduled.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our PACU team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a PACU or Critical Care setting and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia. This role involves monitoring patients, managing pain, and ensuring safety and comfort during the recovery process.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and EKGs in recovery.
• Administer appropriate medications as prescribed and manage patient pain levels.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure safe recovery of patients, including ICU patients if necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate effective patient care.
• Assist with patient transfers and perform other duties as assigned.

• Current RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience in PACU is preferred; ICU or ED experience is also advantageous.
