Position: Carpenter
Department: Engineering

Normal Working Hours: • Varied;Normally 8:00AM to 4:30PM, but will vary dependent upon work assignments andhotel needs.

Past Work ExperienceRequirements: • Journeyman skill level to consist of accepted 4 yearapprentice program with classroom time and 8000 worked hours or experience andtechnical skills equal to the apprenticeship from working in the trade for anumber of years

Educational Requirements: • HighSchool Diploma or G.E.D.

Communication SkillsRequirements: • Ability to communicate effectively with internal andexternal customers

Technical Requirements: • ValidWest Virginia Driver's License
• Any special skills a plus

Physical Requirements: • Liftingup to 70 pounds regularly
• Walking
• Standing
• Climbing ladders,scaffolding, stairs continuously
• Ability to work in confinedspaces

Work Conditions: • Hot
• Cold
• Dirty
• Wet
• Long hours
• Confined spaces
• Working inhigh places and on scaffolding

Required Supervision: • Ability tofollow specific general instructions
• Independent decision making skillsrequired
• Ability to work independently
