Pharmacy Floor Technician (Evening/AM Shift)Allmed Benefits: Vision Insurance, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance and 401(k)Pay Rate: $21/hr (Paid Weekly)Work Location: 281 SHORE DR, UNITS C AND D, Burr Ridge, ILContract to Hire: 07/06/2026 to 01/01/2027 Work Schedule:Monday – Friday: 6:30 PM – 3:00 AMEvery Other Weekend: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PMOvertime and holiday work may be required based on business needsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Floor Technician to support daily pharmacy operations by preparing prescription medications for final verification by a licensed pharmacist. This role plays an essential part in ensuring accurate medication fulfillment, maintaining workflow efficiency, and supporting compliance standards in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacistPick, label, and scan medications in preparation for final pharmacist verificationPull medications from shelving and designated storage areas, including prepack racksApply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy verificationNotify the pharmacist on duty of any medications or products that do not scan properlyProcess returned medications, including recycling and disposal according to established proceduresAssist with prepacking frequently ordered medications during low-volume periodsPackage materials and products manually as requiredMaintain organized workstations and replenish stock supplies as neededFollow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA complianceAdhere to departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress codePerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentActive and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Illinois Board of PharmacyAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to work efficiently at a moderate pace in a high-volume environmentPreferred QualificationsPrevious pharmacy technician experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stoop intermittently throughout the workdayAbility to stand or sit for extended periods (7–10 hours per shift)Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyManual dexterity required to operate equipment and perform repetitive tasksVisual acuity to read fine print, distinguish colors, and adjust focusAbility to hear and respond to normal verbal communication
