Registered Nurse (Lead)

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care across the wellness-illness spectrum, ensuring the comfort and well-being of retired Sisters in various health conditions. Responsibilities include utilizing knowledge of infection control, safety, body mechanics, effective communication, interpersonal skills, and age-related considerations when delivering or delegating care. Qualifications include an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), graduation from an accredited nursing program, and current RN licensure in Texas. Candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interpret medical records and physician orders, and experience in gerontology. Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric medications are preferred.
