This modernization effort aims to establish a technology infrastructure with 24/7/365 reliability, scalability, and redundancy to support the business’s long-term growth and resilience.GPG Finance LeaderAs GPG’s lead finance executive, this position is a key member of the GPG Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic financial guidance, critical gatekeeping and optimal decision support for GPG as it achieves its strategic objectives and helps Ingram Micro achieve desired financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of key business drivers and metrics applicable to GPG (Digital, IT, Platform Capabilities) as well as sophisticated financial models to deliver value and has a track record of driving best practices by implementing new technology and processes on a FP&A and/or commercial-business finance organization and supporting an organization that is going through transformative digital and agile change.Roles & Responsibilities: Financial Partner Leadership Strategic Financial Support: This position collaborates closely with the extended GPG executive team to drive strategy development and provide robust financial oversight. Responsibilities include conducting recurring analyses and process reviews—covering current processes, actual vs. budget performance, and prior-year comparisons—and preparing operational data and analyses to support optimal decision-making.Business Insight & Advisory Role: With a deep understanding of Ingram Micro’s business model and industry, this role provides informed recommendations to the CDO and GPG executive team on the financial impacts of strategic decisions. Acting as a constructive gatekeeper, this position ensures all strategic decisions are anchored in sound financial and governance principles.Financial Leadership & Strategic Objectives: Provides financial insights and leadership across GPG, aiming to exceed business plan targets and supporting both short- and long-term strategic financial objectives.Budget & Forecasting Process Management: Leads a streamlined, effective process for preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasting reports, including function-specific KPI evaluations, budget comparisons, and detailed executive-level explanations of any variances.Project Support & Cost Optimization: Assists GPG in implementing major projects, identifying cost reduction opportunities, improving operations, managing the annual budget process, forecasting performance, and conducting rigorous post-mortem analyses for GPG investments.XvantageEvolution Support: Collaborates closely with the GPG executive team, as well as Country CCEs and CFEs, to drive increased Xvantage platform penetration and profitability through incremental platform development, functionality enhancements, and effective deployment.Strategic KPI Ownership: Acts as a vital gatekeeper for accurate calculation, source of truth, and reporting of key strategic KPIs relevant to Ingram Micro’s digital transformation, including ARR and channel cost to serve.End-to-End Financial Operations & Modeling: Manages efficient end-to-end close procedures and essential internal controls for GPG processes. This role also provides financial modeling, analysis, and support for capital investments and ad hoc projects, alongside routine reporting for senior management.Compliance & GAAP Rigor: Works closely with Corporate Controllership to ensure rigorous GAAP application and SOX-compliant internal controls for GPG financial reporting processes. Responsibilities include labor capitalization for internal software, asset life determination for Agile-developed assets, and ongoing impairment evaluation of the GPG asset portfolio.Continuous Improvement Mindset: Champions a continuous improvement approach within the GPG Finance team, leveraging new tools, automation, and best practices to enhance efficiency, speed, accuracy, and insightfulness in financial operations.People Leadership Team Management & Development: Recruits, supervises, and manages a high-performing finance team, maintaining key relationships with business partners and Finance stakeholders—including country/regional finance teams, controllership, treasury, tax, and internal audit.Cultivating Financial Excellence: Leads a Finance team focused on delivering insightful, accurate financial reports, plans, and forecasts. Also prioritizes team development and effective succession planning to ensure long-term strength in financial leadership.Incremental Forces Driving the Need to Enhance GPG Finance Capabilities Beyond Traditional IT FP&A Opex/Capex OversightExpanded Gatekeeper Role: With GPG’s increasing scope in managing responsibilities and executing strategic initiatives, the importance of a Finance gatekeeper role is at an all-time high to ensure effective oversight and governance.Growing Business Finance Capabilities: In addition to managing the incremental profitability reporting for Xvantage, Finances needs to be more involved with supporting/tracking the deployment of new platform capabilities—i.e. dynamic pricing, marketing programs, many others —by collaborating closely with BU CFEs to track performance, deployment metrics, and conduct ROI post-mortem analyses, and objectively validating OI impacts.Investment Expenditure Post-Mortem: With the expectation of major Xvantage baseline investments moving to “Run” stages in 2025 (from Plan/Build), there is a growing need to plan and deploy more rigorous investment planning and structured post-mortems on significant opex/capex digital investments locally and globally to ensure alignment with strategic goals, ROI targets and learnings for future initiatives. This rigor will require tight coordination with country/regional CFEs for ultimate synergy.Monitoring KTLO Capabilities: Implement structured monitoring for growing “Run” digital spend areas that are expected to evolve/grow significantly over time, including AWS/Cloud expenditure, external labor efficiency, and other emerging categories.KPI Framework and Rigor: Establish a rigorous framework for critical KPIs, including Cost to Serve and ARR, ensuring calculations, controls, and processes are standardized for potential external use.Strengthening Internal Use Software Compliance: Increased rigor in managing internal-use software capitalization as Xvantage expands with Agile development processes, which present heightened audit risks compared to traditional waterfall development cycles.Enhanced IP/Patent Compliance: Improve controls and compliance processes around intellectual property and patent creation to protect GPG’s assets and intellectual capital.SOX Control and Compliance Alignment: As Xvantage GTM penetration grows, establish a close partnership with Controllership and Internal Audit to ensure any brewing SOX-associated developments and risks in out OTC processes are captured and supported timely (e.g., significant ICFR risks/controls developed upstream beyond central finance systems).Experience / SkillsBachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required. MBA and CPA highly preferred.15+ years of progressive responsibility within a large corporate finance function with a minimum of 5-10 years of FP&A Commercial/Business Finance management experience. Experience working cross functionally across a global organization is ideal.Experience in technology, distribution and supply chain heavy industries with a growing ARR revenue profile and established digital capabilities.Demonstrated success by increasing shareholder value, enhancing company valuation, and delivering sustainable net-new revenue growth through strategic leadership, capital markets expertise, M&A execution, and disciplined capital allocation in a publicly traded global organization.Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX compliance, financial governance, and enterprise risk management, with a proven ability to maintain strong internal controls, safeguard financial integrity, and uphold the highest standards of regulatory and fiduciary accountability.Exceptional financial and business acumen, with the ability to rapidly synthesize complex information, identify value creation opportunities, make sound strategic decisions and drive decisive action with imperfect information.Exceptional analytical, problem solving and communication skills with extensive experience advising senior leaders.Highly motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency, proven ability to work effectively cross-functionally and rigorous attention to detail to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Excellent communication and strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend positions.Demonstrated success leveraging advanced financial systems, ERP platforms (SAP or equivalent), automation, data analytics, and visualization technologies to enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and drive enterprise value creation. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire.
