Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer to perform high-risk obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures. The candidate will support outpatient services, utilizing advanced imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

Conduct obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations, including Dopplers, transvaginal scans, and high-risk assessments.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of imaging procedures in compliance with departmental standards.
Maintain proficiency in operating Samsung Hera W10 and Samsung RS 85 Prestige ultrasound machines.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient diagnoses and provide detailed imaging reports.
Adhere to compliance requirements, including Pass/Fail EKG exams and EPIC reporting.
Support float requirements across multiple campuses as needed, maintaining flexibility for occasional shifts and rotations.

Qualifications:

Hold RDMS certification in OB and MFM experience.
Possess a minimum of 2 years of outpatient ultrasound experience, preferably in a teaching hospital setting.
Demonstrate proficiency with PACS, Amniocentesis, and Chronic Villi Sampling procedures.
Maintain current BLS certification and valid license in hand.
Be prepared to pass required EKG testing and comply with Tier 2 travel policies.
Be willing to work variable shifts, including days and occasional weekends, with no call responsibilities.
