Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week float pool assignment requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of recent nursing experience.

Job Details

• Position is part of an internal float pool covering telemetry patients,
• Handles ED boarder patients within specialty before floating as needed,
• Floats between two nearby campuses within a 15-mile radius, with primary need at the main facility,
• Staff are informed of their assigned location prior to each shift,
• 3x12-hour AM shifts totaling 36 hours per week,
• No on-call responsibilities,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand,
• Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience required,
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position,
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront prior to starting the assignment,
• Maximum of 5 RTO days allowed if not falling on or near a holiday, reduced to 3 days if near a holiday,
• Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment,
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
