Insight Global is seeking a Safety Specialist II for a leading utility construction and infrastructure services client. This individual will serve as a key safety partner to field operations, driving compliance, promoting safety ownership, and ensuring a strong safety culture across multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep construction safety expertise, experience supporting utility infrastructure work, and the ability to develop and implement proactive safety programs. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, leading incident investigations, developing hazard analyses and safety plans, delivering training, and partnering with operations leadership to mitigate risk and maintain regulatory compliance. Skills and Requirements

• OSHA 500 Certification (Required)

• Utility construction safety experience

• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction Standards

• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry Standards

• Experience conducting accident investigations and root cause analysis

• Ability to conduct and document routine jobsite safety inspections

• Experience managing EHS efforts on large projects with multiple subcontractors

• Knowledge of underground damage prevention

• Experience with Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA), Daily Job Briefings, and Safety Action Plans

-Demonstrated competency in:

Excavation safety

Rigging practices

Confined space safety

Scaffolding safety

Fall protection

• Ability to interface with customers, vendors, and field management on safety initiatives - OSHA 510 Certification

• CPR Certification

• Gas distribution experience

• Water distribution experience

• Substation construction experience

• Experience preparing and reviewing site-specific safety plans and lift plans

• Bilingual communication skills
