About This Role
Join our dynamic early childhood education team as an Assistant Teacher and contribute to creating a supportive, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. This role involves collaborating with lead teachers to develop and implement curriculum, engaging children in activities that promote development across various domains, and communicating effectively with parents and team members. What You'll Do- Support the lead teachers in creating and implementing lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of each child, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Engage children in activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, fostering a love for learning.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, and ensure they receive necessary accommodations.
- Communicate with children who are deaf or hard of hearing using American Sign Language (ASL) or other suitable methods.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop tailored lesson plans that align with the child's developmental milestones.
- Support early childhood education practices aligned with specialized curricula, such as Montessori.
- Document observations and communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's progress and developmental milestones.
