COPC is the largest physician-owned Primary Care Group in the US. We are looking for a knowledgeable, licensed Endocrinologist to provide care to patients at COPC Endocrinology Specialists at 400 Altair Parkway, Suite 3200, Westerville, Ohio 43082.

The thriving practice has 3 physicians and 2 APPs to support the outpatient practice.

Office Hours: M-Thurs., 8-4:30, FRI., 8-3:30 pm.

About the area: This practice is about 16 miles from downtown Columbus and a 10-20-minute drive from neighboring towns. Columbus can be compared to a small yet big city. Duties and Responsibilities: You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hormone disorders and other problems relating to the endocrine system. Evaluate patient symptoms and medical histories, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans. Support patients with physical limitations due to conditions. Analyze, examine, and investigate patients and their medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances. Advise, order, and perform tests and interpret the results. Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and give advice on medications, lifestyle, dietary changes, and other preventative measures. Carry out follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, and update patient records. COPC uses EPIC EHR. Conduct research and studies on the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques. Remain up to date on current discoveries, developments, trends, research, and technology. Opportunity to perform thyroid ultrasound/thyroid nodule biopsies.

Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO), completion of a three-year Internal Medicine residency, Fellowship completion, and Board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions. Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses. Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and research skills. Proficiency with computers and medical equipment. The ability to speak more than one language would be advantageous.
