Lead Shipping And Receiving LeadThe Shipping And Receiving Associate is responsible for overseeing all incoming and outgoing shipments within the dealership's parts department. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, timely deliveries, and efficient warehouse/department operations. Coordinate daily logistics activities and maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operationsInspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage; verify against purchase ordersEnsure timely and accurate processing of outgoing orders, including packaging and documentationMaintain organized inventory and storage areas within the warehouse/departmentLead cycle counts and assist with full inventory auditsTrain, schedule, and support shipping/receiving team membersResolve discrepancies related to shipments, inventory, or documentationMaintain shipping records, logs, and reportsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company proceduresOperate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as neededQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or supply chain training preferred3–5 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience, preferably in an automotive or dealership environmentStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skillsForklift certification (or ability to obtain)Skills & Competencies:High level of attention to detail and accuracyTime management and multitaskingStrong communication and coordination skillsKnowledge of shipping procedures and inventory controlHigh level of organizational skillsWork Environment:Warehouse and dealership settingExposure to varying temperatures, noise, and equipmentStanding, walking, and lifting required throughout the shiftCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience)Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan optionsEmployee discountsEqual Opportunity Employer Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
