You welcome a challenge and strive to continuously optimize system and program functionality with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.What you’ll do:Plan, implement, configure, and support OpenShift systems and applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and alignment with enterprise standardsRespond to, troubleshoot, and resolve the most complex OpenShift issues and escalations to minimize downtime and restoring services efficientlyPerform root cause analysis and document resolution strategies, promoting continuous improvement and long-term stabilityCollaborate with IT teams, management, and business units on cross-functional projects, supporting infrastructure, security, and large-scale outage recovery across OpenShift environmentsDevelop automation tools for provisioning, management, and security, increasing operational efficiency and ensuring repeatability in OpenShift environmentsIdentify and lead enhancement projects for systems and applications, driving improvements in performance, security, and scalability across the enterpriseAlways take action with Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomesWhat you’ll need:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experienceAdvanced knowledge in independently diagnosing and resolving intricate issues across interconnected programs and systems, ability to develop and implement effective, innovative solutions, typically requiring a minimum of 6+ years of experience3+ years of experience with architecting, building, and supporting production OpenShift clusters Extensive experience in managing complex project and solving advanced engineering related issuesExperience with project management methodologiesStrong knowledge in designing, analyzing, and optimizing complex systems or productsAdvanced knowledge in specific engineering disciplines and technologies such as Microsoft 365 Technologies, Azure Active DirectoryAbility to align engineering projects with organizational goals and contribute to strategic planningAbility to lead technical teams and provide direction on complex technical issuesExperience with OpenShift/Kubernetes storage such as PortWorxExperience with ArgoCD (GitOps) technology and best practicesExperience installing, maintaining, and upgrading OperatorsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced experience in Microsoft Office applicationsAdditional Preferred Skills:Master’s degree in a relevant fieldRed Hat Certified Engineer + OpenShift Specialization certificationsRed Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certificationSummaryLocation: San Antonio, TX - One Frost; Houston-Varies; Fort Worth-Varies; Dallas-Varies; Austin-VariesType: Full time
