Specialist, Pre-Apprenticeship, LAUNCH

Location Remote within California; must reside in California. What You’ll Do As a Specialist, Pre‑Apprenticeship, you will support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of pre‑apprenticeship and work‑based learning initiatives in the LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network. Project Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement Support and coordinate with the Chancellor’s Office, K‑12 districts, county offices of education, community colleges, employers, workforce agencies, internal teams, and other relevant stakeholders. Program Development and Management Ensure all LAUNCH programs and affiliated partners align with state requirements for registered pre‑apprenticeship projects and initiatives. Maintain agreements with training providers. Project Tracking, Reporting, and Compliance Track deliverables and assist with grant‑funded project implementation. Support data collection, outreach efforts, reporting, recruitment, development of marketing collateral, toolkits and resources. Attributes for Success Excellent project management, group facilitation, and technical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver quality products within agreed timelines and limited supervision. Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, synthesize, and communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences in various formats (toolkits, reports, graphic displays, presentations). Ability to work remotely and navigate various technology platforms (Zoom, MS Office Suite‑Teams, Outlook, Salesforce Lightning, Google Suite, etc.). Qualifications Relevant BA/BS degree, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Excel required. Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in workforce development, or apprenticeship/pre‑apprenticeship. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an education or non‑profit environment.
