Data Center Technician

Data Center Technician IIWe are seeking a Data Center Technician II with 2+ years of experience supporting critical data center environments. This role is responsible for performing hardware deployments, troubleshooting, rack and stack activities, cabling, break/fix support, and inventory management while adhering to safety and operational procedures.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, troubleshoot, and decommission server, network, and storage hardware.Perform rack and stack activities, structured cabling, and hardware upgrades.Execute break/fix tasks and support incident resolution within established SLAs.Conduct routine inspections, audits, and preventative maintenance activities.Maintain accurate asset tracking, inventory records, and documentation.Follow all data center operational, safety, and security protocols.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and operational initiatives.Qualifications:2+ years of data center, IT infrastructure, or technical operations experience.Experience with server hardware, cabling, and basic networking concepts.Ability to troubleshoot hardware-related issues and follow documented procedures.Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to safety.Ability to lift equipment and work in a physically demanding data center environment.This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical infrastructure in a world-class data center environment.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
