This role is vital in delivering nutritious and appealing meals to patients, staff, and visitors within a fast-paced clinical environment. The position ensures the highest standards of food safety and sanitation while meeting diverse dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals following established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in food prep and serving areas.
• Set up cafeteria serving lines and salad bars.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to guarantee food safety.
• Label and date all food items, ensuring proper rotation using first-in-first-out methods.
• Prepare patient trays and snacks according to physician diet orders and dietician-approved menus.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during duties.
• Operate kitchen and cafeteria machinery efficiently.
• Deliver and pick up meal trays and snacks promptly to patient care areas.
• Stock kitchen supplies and store groceries properly upon delivery.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with food service protocols.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare settings preferred.
