The role is based in Midwest, United States (remote). We are also looking for this candidate to be local to Cedar Rapids, IA for one year training. Where You'll Make a Difference
- Build and strengthen relationships within the fuel ethanol and carbohydrate processing industry
- Support revenue growth by progressing opportunities and contributing to team sales targets
- Identify new business opportunities through understanding ethanol and manufacturing processes
- Assist in developing account plans and delivering commercial proposals aligned with strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical service, supply, marketing, and R&D
- Help implement IFF technologies such as enzymes, yeast, and fermentation additives
- Troubleshoot customer issues and identify unmet needs to deliver tailored solutions
- Utilize tools such as Salesforce, forecasting systems, and internal platforms to support sales execution
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
- Experience in a sales, customer service, or technical-facing role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, independent, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the Midwest region
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and sales-related systems
How Would You Stand Out?
- Experience in ethanol, corn processing, agriculture, food, or chemical industries
- Knowledge of fermentation or industrial processing technologies
- Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and identify growth opportunities
