The Role

A technical, hands-on role where you will:

• Own the vehicle-level technical baseline, requirements flowdown, and system closure for your assigned space mission.
• Manage and balance critical vehicle budgets including mass, power, thermal, link, pointing, propellant, and data.
• Write and close technical Interface Control Documents (ICDs) across subsystems, customer payloads, and launch providers.
• Lead environmental test planning and execution including vibration, thermal vacuum (TVAC), and EMI/EMC campaigns.
• Direct mission-level trade studies, concept of operations (ConOps), and cross-disciplinary root cause analyses.
• Establish vehicle requalification and reflight criteria post-landing to feed back into platform standard baselines.

The Essential Requirements

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain ITAR compliance and TS/SCI clearance.
• 7+ years of spacecraft engineering experience with proven full-lifecycle delivery from design to launch.
• Hands-on hardware or flight software deployment experience across core spacecraft disciplines.
• Track record writing/closing payload or launch provider ICDs and running environmental test campaigns.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Denver, CO.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Prior experience with atmospheric re-entry, heat shields, or multi-life reusable space hardware.
• Direct SpaceX Transporter rideshare integration experience and familiarity with NASA GEVS or SMC-S-016 standards.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and prior defense payload integration experience.
