Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Contract | Nights | Onsite | Possible weekend and holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients in a Level I and Level III Perinatal setting
• Monitor and assess antepartum and intrapartum patients, responding appropriately to changes in condition
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret findings in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality obstetric care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using electronic health record systems
• Adhere to all facility policies, compliance standards, and required learning modules prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Arizona, with no disciplinary actions on record
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active NRP certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active AFM (Antepartum Fetal Monitoring) certification from an approved vendor

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Antepartum nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
