Material Handler Forklift

This role focuses on staging orders for production assembly and safely moving materials throughout a manufacturing facility. The material handler / forklift operator picks, transports, and organizes parts for various areas within the warehouse and production environment, ensuring accurate and timely support for ongoing operations.

• Stage orders and materials for production assembly in accordance with work orders and schedules.
• Pick, move, and deliver parts to various areas within the manufacturing facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks safely to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to locate, track, and record inventory movements.
• Perform general labor tasks such as warehouse packing, shipping, and handling materials as needed.
• Follow written work orders and instructions accurately to ensure correct parts and quantities are staged and delivered.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with facility safety guidelines.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including preparing orders and verifying materials.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.
• Perform other warehouse and material handling duties as assigned to support production and logistics operations.

• Experience with material handling in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with MHE equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory tracking.
• Ability to perform general labor, warehouse packing, and shipping tasks.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow work orders and instructions accurately.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems (WMS, ERP preferred).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to warehouse procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
• Comfort working with technology such as RF scanners and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends based on production needs.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

The environment emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration, with material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems used regularly to support operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
