Overview

Provides operational support with package delivery shipping and receiving mail distribution document scanning copying and other office services. Responsible for receiving sorting scanning and delivering packages across a campus consisting of seven buildings. The role requires extensive standing walking and lifting in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive sort scan and deliver packages across campus buildings.
• Distribute mail fax transmissions office supplies and materials to designated locations.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties.
• Use basic computer systems MS Office email and image-handling software to scan and track packages.
• Maintain daily meter and service logs delivery records inventory records and management reports.
• Respond to customer questions regarding job requests package status and delivery feasibility.
• Coordinate service calls and report equipment issues to technicians.
• Operate copying scanning mail-processing postage and fax equipment as required.
• Clear paper jams and perform daily quality checks on convenience copiers.
• Keep copier areas clean organized and well stocked.
• Use bindery and finishing equipment including paper cutters hole drills shrink-wrap machines joggers tape machines stackers electric staplers and scales as needed.
• Perform filing quality control final checks housekeeping and other assigned office support duties.
• Travel between buildings as needed to complete deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma GED or equivalent work experience.
• Previous copy or related office operations experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and email systems.
• Technical aptitude with printers copiers postage meters fax machines and other office equipment.
• Good customer service communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to stand walk bend reach stretch and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift or move packages weighing up to 40 lbs; assistance is required for heavier packages.
• Ability to work in a warehouse and office environment with regular walking between seven campus buildings.
• Business casual dress code (slacks and polo shirt).
• In-person interview required.
