Rylynn Remodeling is an established residential remodeling company serving the Charleston and Huntington, WV area. We specialize in home remodeling, interior renovations, carpentry, and exterior improvement projects.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter / Remodeling Foreman to lead residential remodeling projects in the field.

About the Role

As a Lead Carpenter / Remodeling Foreman, you will be responsible for running residential remodeling projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on leadership position that includes skilled carpentry, job site management, apprentice supervision, and daily communication with homeowners and office staff.

You will lead production on interior remodeling, carpentry, and home renovation projects while helping maintain Rylynn Remodeling’s standards for quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

Lead day-to-day production on residential remodeling projects
Supervise an apprentice, helper, or small crew
Perform skilled carpentry and remodeling work
Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized
Read construction plans, remodeling drawings, and layouts
Take accurate measurements and complete layouts
Communicate professionally with homeowners and office staff
Manage job site materials, material takeoffs, and pickups
Complete punch lists and final project details
Make sure projects are completed on time and to company standards

Remodeling Work May Include

Demolition
Framing
Trim and finish carpentry
Drywall and painting
Flooring installation
Door and window installation
Exterior repair work
General residential remodeling tasks

What We’re Looking For

Experience in residential construction or remodeling
Strong general carpentry and finish carpentry skills
Ability to complete interior remodeling work independently
Previous experience as a Lead Carpenter, Remodeling Foreman, or Crew Leader preferred
Experience supervising helpers, apprentices, or crew members
Ability to read construction drawings and remodeling plans
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Safety-focused mindset
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation

Bathroom remodeling

Schedule

Monday through Friday
Approximately 40–45 hours per week
Steady year-round work
Local work only
No overnight travel

2 or more years of experience in the remodeling industry
Residential construction or remodeling experience
