This position is responsible for creating and developing material solutions for footwear within our sportswear division, focusing on established franchises for men's and women's lines. The ideal candidate will have a high taste level and a strong understanding of consumer trends and tactile materials, contributing to projects from concept to final product.Key Responsibilities* Design and develop material concepts for footwear, aligning with consumer trends and product strategy.* Collaborate with the design team on material selection and application for sportswear icons.* Manage material design projects, demonstrating a clear design process and decision-making rationale.* Present a portfolio that showcases strong storytelling and a clear design process.* Work on larger projects for consumer goods, demonstrating an understanding of scale and production.Required Qualifications**Education:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.**Experience:** A minimum of three years of experience in Materials Design.**Skills:*** Demonstrated high taste level and an understanding of consumer and streetwear trends.* Proficiency in working with tactile materials.* Experience working on large-scale projects for consumer goods.* A portfolio that demonstrates strong storytelling and a clear design process, indicating where you were a key decision-maker.Preferred Qualifications* Experience in industrial material design, textile material design, or apparel material design.* A strong interest in streetwear and current trends.* Previous industry experience is preferred. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
