Job Summary:
A Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing patient care in a Neuro Trauma unit. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment. The position involves night shifts, with scheduled hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The assignment is scheduled to start on June 29, 2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Wichita, Kansas
• Address: 550 N. Hillside Avenue
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; At least 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience; Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Candidates without these skills will not be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical record system; Experience working in large trauma facilities; Experience performing procedures such as medication drips, bubble studies, and EEG; Candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Additional Information: Unit has approximately 36 beds with a staff of 70, including 7 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians per shift. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:6 but never guaranteed. Equipment includes Kangaroo Pumps.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Responsibilities: Providing patient care according to unit policies and procedures, utilizing new equipment and technology, and maintaining a flexible, positive attitude in a fast-paced trauma environment.
