Eliot's Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) is a twenty four hour program designed to stabilize and support adults in psychiatric distress. This program is designed as an alternative to hospitalization providing short term overnight crisis care.As a Stabilization Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting adults with mental illness in their individual recovery journeys. The ideal candidate should be strongly committed to recovery-oriented services, and have the skills necessary to build supportive relationships with clients and their families. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, crisis management, and problem solving skills.Responsibilities:Provide crisis support and stabilization services to clientsDeliver interventions to individuals and families focused on problem-solving, skills training, behavior modeling, optimism, and encouragementTailor interventions based on client preferences, needs, and the clinical direction of the care teamOffer direct support in crisis intervention, stabilization, treatment planning, and evaluation and assessmentAssist individuals with learning and utilizing coping strategies, and daily living skillsComplete clinical assessments and required documentation to meet standardsProvide short-term case management, including assistance with income, insurance, entitlements, community resources and services, as well as coordination of medical/psychiatric appointmentsFacilitate warm handoffs with other service providersQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field preferredExperience working with adults or families with mental illness/substance abuseCandidates with lived experience with substance use disorder strongly encouraged to applyValid Massachusetts drivers licenseSchedules:Saturday & Sunday, 7:00am-3:00pm (16 hours)Saturday & Sunday, 3:00pm-11:00pm (16 hours)Hourly Rate$23.08 - $23.08 USDAt Eliot, we are committed to supporting you at every stage of your career, providing opportunities for growth, purpose, and community.
