Respiratory TherapistLocation: Galax, VAAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AMJob Description: We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesDeliver respiratory therapy services to patients, including administering treatments and managing ventilator support.Perform diagnostic tests, including ABGs and assessments of respiratory function.Collaborate with healthcare providers to establish and implement patient care plans.Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and treatment options.Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with established policies.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust hold a valid certification or licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Virginia.Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required.Minimum of one year of previous respiratory therapy experience is preferred.Ability to work with diverse patient populations across all age groups.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
