Vista Ridge Senior Care is a skilled nursing facility in Lakeway serving both short‑term and long‑term patients. We have an in‑house therapy team with smaller daily case loads, new equipment, and an emphasis on optimizing time with patients. We offer CEU and licensure reimbursements for full‑time employees. Occupational Therapist's Job Responsibilities Helps residents by providing rehabilitative and skilled therapy maintenance services to persons with mental, physical, psychosocial, or developmental impairments. Maintains expected productivity/efficiency set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator. Maintains accurate and timely patients' occupational therapy records by recording resident’s progress and daily notes under federal, state, and insurance guidelines. Records accurate billing information of occupational therapy services rendered. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility guidelines and procedures. Helps keep therapy equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs as needed. Serves and protects occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. Enhances occupational therapy practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
