Terminal Supervisor

Terminal Supervisor position located in Henderson, CO, US, 80640. This position will be responsible for leading safe and efficient terminal operations by improving performance, guiding frontline teams, and ensuring standards are consistently followed. They will build strong, accountable teams while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental requirements. This person will play a key role in managing and driving change, aligning day-to-day operations with business priorities, and supporting reliable, incident-free performance.

Job duties include coordinating with the pipeline scheduling and marketing departments, computer software training, determining work procedures, setting priorities, preparing work schedules, expediting terminal workflow, prioritizing procurement of materials and equipment, assessing current processes, establishing, maintaining and documenting procedures for department workflow, analyzing and developing solutions for problems arising within the department, preparing weekly payroll input, verifying employee calculations, maintaining and verifying attendance and leave allocation for account receivable employees, acting as liaison between Terminal and other related departments as needed, acting as a liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory authorities, coordinating training with responding municipal emergency services, verifying Terminal documents for accuracy of calculations, information and approvals, handling escalated telephone calls and checking and responding to department electronic mail, developing reports, isolating potential operational issues, and providing recommendations and ad hoc reports to appropriate management.

Experience: A minimum of seven years of related experience with at least two years in a lead role is required. Education Level: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience at the management level is required.

Required Skills: Special training and/or certifications in computer accounting software and hazardous materials is essential. A significant amount of energy industry and supervisory experience is required. Basic reading and writing skills with the ability to perform basic level mathematical calculations. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility: Responsible for the direct supervision of at least four employees.

Work Conditions: Office and field based with 10% travel by land and air required. Refined petroleum products, warehouse/plant environment, out-of-doors environment, and driver based environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, working in confined spaces, and exposure to the risk of electrical shock. Subject to all temperatures, weather, and varying road conditions.
