Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to join our growing manufacturing organization in Roselle, IL. This role will serve as a trusted business partner to leadership while managing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions across multiple manufacturing facilities.
The ideal candidate will combine strong HR leadership capabilities with hands-on operational expertise to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and change management initiatives. This position requires a proactive HR professional who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with executive leadership and operational managers to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Support organizational growth initiatives through workforce planning and talent management programs.
- Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Lead and support change management initiatives across multiple facilities.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage complex employee relations matters independently and effectively.
- Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on employee issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Talent Management
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
- Develop and implement succession planning and leadership development programs.
- Support performance management processes and employee development plans.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes engagement and accountability.
HR Operations
- Oversee HR administration, employee records, and HRIS management.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and programs.
- Support compensation, benefits, and workforce analytics initiatives.
Multi-Site Support
- Provide HR leadership and support across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Collaborate with facility leadership teams to address workforce challenges and opportunities.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across all sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience .
- Strong experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, or similar operational environments .
- Demonstrated experience supporting organizational growth and transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex employee relations issues.
- Experience partnering with leadership teams and influencing business decisions.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (Required).
- Multi-state HR experience.
- Strong HRIS systems expertise and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Experience building scalable HR programs, policies, and processes.
- Background in employee engagement, culture development, and organizational effectiveness.
