Join a collaborative clinical team and deliver convenient, evidence-based care to patients in the Newnan community!

Position Highlights

• Location: Newnan, GA

• Position: Family Nurse Practitioner

• Hours: 30–40 hours per week

• Clinic Hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

  • Sunday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM

• Orientation: 40 hours, Monday–Friday, for 4 weeks

• Setting: In-person, patient-facing

• Start: Individual starts

Role & Responsibilities

As a MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner, you will collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based care, including:

• Comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

• Primary and family care and management of health conditions.

• Health counseling and disposition planning.

• Routine examinations and diagnostic testing.

• Patient education focused on healthy lifestyle choices.

• Health screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.

• Coordination with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.

• Patient follow-up, appointment management, inventory, insurance verification, and other clinic administrative duties.

✅ Qualifications

• Master’s Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program

• Current National Board Certification

• State of employment license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.

• Prior primary care or urgent care experience is required.

• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, adaptability, and multitasking skills.

• Ability to practice autonomously and work without direct supervision.

• Proficiency with information management and technology.

• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure.

Candidate Submission Requirements

All NP/PA submissions must include the completed candidate questionnaire:

• NP/PA license status in the state of application

• Confirmation that the license is in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions

• NPI #

• Primary care experience

• Electronic Medical Systems (EMS) used

• Upcoming planned time off

• Current CVS recruiter involvement, if applicable

• Willingness to travel beyond the applicable distance for float work, if necessary

• Interview availability

• Availability to start

Required with submission:

• Screenshot of professional license

• Screenshot of BLS certification

• BLS from ARC or AHA is required

• Candidate questionnaire included on the resume

• All MinuteClinic positions are safety sensitive .

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.

• Unless otherwise noted, the role requires working three out of every six weekends , with possible holiday rotations.

• Prior CVS/Aetna experience is not required .

• This is an in-person, patient-facing role with onsite requirements as needed.
