Capital Markets Consultant

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Capital Markets Consultant to join their team. As a Capital Markets Consultant, you will be part of the Enterprise Capital Management Technology (ECMT) supporting critical regulatory and technological transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: $68

What's the Job?

• Support the development and maintenance of enterprise-level capital management technology applications.
• Assist in replacing legacy applications within Treasury Technology through meticulous design and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with critical regulations such as Basel IV and FRTB.
• Read and understand Python code and run reports in MicroStrategy to support data analysis and reporting needs.
• Identify risks and issues proactively, suggesting improvements to enhance system performance and compliance.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience in a techno-functional role with at least 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
• Good knowledge of SQL programming, preferably with Oracle Exadata databases.
• Programming experience with Python or Java/.Net, with the ability to read and interpret code.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Deep understanding of Capital Markets, focusing on Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations, along with regulatory knowledge.
