POSITION:
The Production Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the activities of the shop operations to include Truck Equipment installation, Paint, Quality Control and Pick Up & Delivery with the direction of the Plant Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Allocates resources, provides feedback, and ensures organized production.
• Assign tasks, assist, and train other personnel to support future growth.
• Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise on the shop floor and confer with supervisors, leads, and production personnel to resolve problems, keeping projects moving for the best outcome.
• Communicates across multiple departments.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors that support our Company Values.
• Advocate plant and employee safety, ensuring all employees are utilizing safety procedures.
• Create a continuous improvement environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in vehicle or other industrial equipment assembly
• 5+ years' experience leading people
• Working knowledge of Excel, ERP Systems, Word, Outlook, Teams
• Experience with defined problem-solving methodologies i.e. 3L - 5 Why
• Ability to work with teams to establish standard work procedures
