You take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation by performing deep cleaning of kitchen equipment-including stoves, ovens, and other high-use appliances-as well as high dusting throughout kitchen and beverage service areas. Your work ensures a clean, safe, and efficient environment for both the culinary team and our guests.Job Description:Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culturePerform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, floors, grills, broilers, and other surfacesConduct high-dusting throughout the kitchen and beverage outlets to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standardsUse appropriate cleaning chemicals per OSHA regulations and company policies to sanitize equipment and workspacesOperate and maintain dishwashing machines, sinks, garbage disposals, and other cleaning equipment; perform basic breakdown and reassembly as neededMaintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas throughout the shiftTransport garbage, recycling, and debris from kitchen and bar areas to designated disposal locationsEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications1 year of relevant experience preferred; STA Kitchen Worker certification preferredKnowledge of proper stove and equipment cleaning techniques preferredFamiliarity with handling industrial cleaning agents and chemicalsKnowledge of food safety standards and sanitation proceduresAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environmentAbility to access and input information using a moderately complex computer systemRequirementsAt least 18 Years of AgeHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork CardsFood Handlers CardPhysical RequirementsRegularly push/pull up to 50 lbsRegularly lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsFrequently Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistFrequently standing and walkingAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityWork Environment Potential ConditionsIndoorOutdoorSmokyNoisyBright flashing lightsExtreme HeightsExtreme hot cold temperaturesSlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
