Licensed Veterinary Technician

Parkview Cat Clinic is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) - soon to be in Minnesota- to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are looking for a versatile, client‑focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment—balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands‑on procedural support. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care. In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit. Responsibilities Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Assisting in surgery Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service Schedule and Compensation Compensation: $21-$24 per hour, for each hour worked. This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday‑Friday. CE allowance: $500-$1,000 based on tenure and credentials Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401(k) with company match Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Uniform allowance Part‑time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set 1+, 3+, 5+ years of veterinary technician experience Active and good‑standing Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in the state of Minnesota Proficiency in the following skills: Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery Surgical assistance and aseptic technique Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement Radiology positioning and safety protocols Medication administration and accurate drug calculations Laboratory sample collection and in‑house diagnostic testing Safe, low‑stress patient handling and restraint techniques Client education and communication Commitment to high‑quality patient care and continuous learning Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out‑of‑state license‑holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply Why Choose Parkview Cat Clinic?
