(TCI) is on the lookout for a customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll need to bring your strong interpersonal skills to help our customers find the commercial vehicle and equipment parts they need, whether in person or over the phone. This position will work at our Hudson location - located inside Nussbaum Transportation. This position will work day shifts, Monday-Friday.What You'll Do:Sell Parts: Assist customers over the counter or by phone in a lively, fast-paced setting.Utilize Resources: Quickly and efficiently look up parts and technical information, check inventory, and locate stock within our TCI network.Handle Transactions: Ensure all sales transactions are completed accurately and promptly, adhering to TCI policies, including verifying signatures, credit cards, and customer identity.Coordinate Orders: Schedule orders for shipment, delivery, or customer pick-up, ensuring they are processed quickly.Process Returns: Issue credits for returned parts, verifying purchase details with original invoices or reference numbers.Customer Follow-Up: Regularly check in with customers on order status, provide estimates, and make routine sales calls to maintain strong customer relationships.Accurate Data Entry: Enter part numbers accurately to determine costs on repair orders.Join TCI and be a part of a dynamic team where your skills will shine and your career can grow!What We're Looking For:High School Diploma or GED2+ years of parts sales experience is highly preferableThorough knowledge of basic computer operations and inventory control systemsDemonstrated customer service and communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work without direct supervision at timesStrong organization skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and a solution-focused outlookMust be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.Ability to lift or move up to 80 lbs. unassistedWhat We Offer:Pay range: $19.98 - $29.96 per hour with incentive eligibility401(k) with company matchHealth insurance with 2 plan options to choose from, Vision Insurance, and Dental InsurancePaid time off including paid volunteer timeDisability insuranceFSA and HSA optionsCompany paid Life and AD&D insuranceMaternity leaveEmployee assistance programWellness programCompany paid uniformsCompany paid boot allowanceTruck Centers, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
