Occupational Therapist

Provides Occupational Therapy services to patients by assessing their needs and developing treatment plans to improve functional abilities. Works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
• Utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques and tools to facilitate patient progress.
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately within designated timelines.
• Supervise and collaborate with assigned therapy assistants to ensure quality care.
• Communicate treatment plans and discharge instructions effectively to patients and team members.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD).
• Possess current state of practice Occupational Therapy licensure.
• Maintain valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Bring at least two years of recent experience in inpatient hospital or acute rehabilitation settings.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in neuro and ICU therapy, with experience in acute inpatient and rehab environments.
• Be flexible and available to work day shifts, including weekends, with the ability to float between inpatient and acute rehab units.
