Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 5-7 years of Radiology experience and CNMT/ARRT-N certification for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Outpatient imaging setting using a GE Discovery NM Camera
• Primarily performs FDG, PSMA, and Amyloid cases
• Schedule is 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday with potential for every other Saturday
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
• 5-7 years of experience in Radiology or a comparable field required
• CNMT/ARRT-N certification required
• Massachusetts Nuclear Medicine State License required
• State Radiologic Technologist license preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
• Must be able to stand, walk, and reach frequently, and lift 35+ lbs with an assisted device
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Independently performs advanced nuclear medicine procedures, selecting optimal technical factors based on nuclear medicine physics
• Prepares, positions, and transports patients for procedures while addressing physical and emotional needs
• Explains procedures to patients and records images for radiologist interpretation
• Provides guidance and direction to students and staff as a subject matter resource
• Maintains required documentation for radioactive materials upon receipt and prior to administration
• Accepts local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston at a reduced rate
