LVN / LPN - LTC/SNF

Job Summary: Provide nursing care and support to patients in a long-term care setting, ensuring compliance with facility policies and industry standards. Assist staff nurses in delivering quality patient-centered care by adhering to established protocols and safety procedures. Responsibilities: Support staff nurses in providing comprehensive patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Recognize and demonstrate an understanding of patient and family-centered care principles. Follow strict attendance policies, including timely shift start and adherence to absence protocols. Document patient information accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist with patient treatments, vital signs, and routine nursing tasks as directed by supervising staff. Maintain professional appearance by adhering to the facility’s dress code, including matching scrubs. Qualifications: Verify a minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities. Hold a valid State license as an LVN or LPN in Michigan. Possess current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Demonstrate knowledge of LTC/Skilled Nursing facility protocols and patient care standards. Be able to provide documentation of MI LTC fingerprinting (preferred). Commit to adhering to the institution’s attendance and safety policies.
