Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (CLINTON, IL) Night Shift: The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include evaluating patient outcomes, coordinating with physicians and specialists, and adjusting nursing care processes to support optimal patient care and patient flow through the ER. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and/or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
• Responsibilities: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department; communicates with Emergency Department physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results; responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment; provides psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care while meeting communication needs of patients and families; adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the ER; consults with other specialists and ancillary departments as required; demonstrates initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations
