Staff Nurse- Hemodialysis

About This Role The Staff Nurse in Hemodialysis provides professional nursing care to patients within the renal dialysis unit, focusing on diagnosing and treating health problems through various nursing methods and techniques. Highlights Pay: $112,775/year Location: New York, NY Facility: Harlem Hospital Center Department/Unit: RENAL DIALYSIS Schedule: Full-Time, Day (12:30 P.M – 1:00 A.M) What You’ll Do Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms. Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients. Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes on patients/clients. Interpret and report responses of patients/clients to appropriate members of the health team. Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program. Determine and assign components of the nursing regimen to allied nursing personnel. Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel in patient care. Participate in defining, implementing, maintaining, and interpreting standards of nursing practice. Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences regarding nursing practice policies. Maintain professional competence through participation in continuing education and learning experiences.
