Senior Product Manager, Intelligent Sales Platform

About the Role:Vanguard's Financial Advisor Services (FAS) division is building an AI-powered platform that guides seller decisions, automates routine work, and surfaces the right insight at the right moment. This is a 01 build with executive sponsorship.This is a regulated financial services environment — compliance, auditability, and explainability are built into the product.You'll own this product end-to-end — from discovery through scaled rollout — building capabilities that directly impact how sales crew serve our clients.What You'll Own:Problem Discovery & Product SenseLead continuous discovery with sales users and leaders across multiple roles and channels.Define what to build, for whom, and in what order.Platform Build & ExecutionOwn the product roadmap from MVP through scaled adoption.Drive phased delivery from pilot through broad rollout.Make scope and sequencing trade-offs under real constraints.Drive product adoption where usage is earned, not mandated.AI/Agentic Product DevelopmentDefine how AI agents behave within the product and what governs that behavior.Partner with data scientists and engineers on models, recommendations, and generative features.Product Analytics & MetricsOwn how we measure success and make scale/no-scale decisions.Establish baselines and run rigorous pilots.Cross-Functional LeadershipPartner with Engineering, Data Science, UX, Sales Leadership, and Compliance to ship with quality.Drive build/buy/partner decisions.Required Skills & Experience7+ years of product management experience, with depth in 01 builds through scaled adoption.Direct experience shipping AI/ML-powered products — LLMs, ML models, and generative features in production.Experience building agentic AI products.Strong problem discovery practice.Rigorous product analytics skills.Excellent product execution — you prototype, define evals, and drive cross-functional delivery to production.Experience with enterprise or B2B products.PreferredBackground in sales technology or CRM platforms.Experience in regulated financial servicesFamiliarity with mobile-first product design for field-based users.Why This RoleYou'll build an AI-native platform from the ground up inside a Fortune 500 financial services firm — with proprietary data assets, real user scale, and executive support.
