Bartender

($2.13 hourly plus tips)

Malfi is the latest McNellie's Group concept opening on Brookside, bringing Italian cuisine and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to the local community. We pride ourselves on quality, passion for food, and exceptional customer service. We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our team and be a part of something special as we get get Malfi off the ground!


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, wines, and Italian spirits.
  • Provide recommendations to guests on drink pairings, cocktails, and the restaurant's wine list.
  • Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including stocking supplies and ensuring the bar is always prepared for service.
  • Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and serve responsibly.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payments, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly, positive manner to enhance their experience.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all local and state alcohol laws and regulations are followed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous bartending experience preferred (Italian cocktail knowledge is a plus!).
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, and spirits.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Must have an ABLE license, alcohol safety training, and THD food handler.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
