Field: Oil and Gas Location: Houston, TX Contract Term: Long Term

Responsibilities for AWS Data Engineer

• Python-5 years experience (Expert skill level)- must have additional experience with Go – NodeJS helpful
• Spark (Java, or Python) -3 years experience (Expert skill level) – Spark, Pyspark experience
• Data Pipeline (e.g. Airflow) -3 years experience (Expert skill level) – Airflow or similar tools – Highly prefer Airflow experience
• Components of AWS (Platform, Data storage, Network and Security etc) -3-5 years experience (Expert skill level) – Must have working exp with AWS (e.g. S3, RDS)
• Open Source Technologies -3-5 years experience (Expert skill level) -See above (e.g. Spark, Airflow)
• Gitlab CI/CD-3 years experience – Prefer Gitlab but Github 'Actions' experience ok
• Messaging, IoT / Telemetry-3 years experience (Expert skill level) – Must have Kafka, spark streaming – Preferably AWS IoT, MQTT (Device level communications)
• GraphQL (Apollo, Hasura) -1 year Knowledge- Prefer knowledge in Apollo or Hasura
• Components of Azure-1 year Knowledge – Generally not looking for Azure experts (Nice to have)
• Kubernetes-1 year Knowledge
