Housekeeping PositionDuties and Expectations:Enjoy cleaning and is detailedAbility to take initiative and work without close supervisionStay productive and complete rooms timelyBe careful handling cleaning materials safelyAssist other staff as neededOccasionally assist guests fulfilling requests and suppliesMaintain a good relationship with front desk staff and housekeepingBe able to follow emergency proceduresWarmly interact with all guests, including in public areas and while completing guest requestsResponsible for providing exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional mannerFull understanding of emergency proceduresPromoting safety by being alert to observe, correct and report any safety hazards immediatelyClean and maintain the appearance of the surrounding areas of the hotel, including removing debris or trash from ground if foundReport on all maintenance issues in rooms and public areasRemove dirty laundry from rooms, replace it and make roomsAssist with other duties as needed and requestedMinimum Qualifications:Preferred housekeeping experience in high quality hotel or service environmentPhysical ability to stand or walk for long periods.
