ABOUT THE POSITION

Stratagen is seeking Data and Communication Analysts at the Mid-Level and Senior levels to support a federal program within the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division (contingent upon award). This is an on-site position in Clarksburg, WV.

Data and Communication Analysts will support the development, analysis, documentation, and communication of information for internal and external stakeholders under the direction of government personnel. The role combines data analysis, data visualization, technical and program documentation, content development, stakeholder communication, and data management.

The ideal candidate will be able to analyze information from multiple sources, translate complex or incomplete data into clear and actionable products, and develop professional documentation and communications materials for government review and approval.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and maintain draft documentation and communication materials for government review and approval.

• Create executive briefs, white papers, brochures, presentations, reports, summaries, and other IT project and program documentation.

• Analyze information from multiple sources to develop accurate reports, summaries, responses, and other analytical products.

• Develop data-driven reports and presentations that communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Use data visualization tools to present information and identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Support ad hoc data projects and analyses that produce actionable recommendations.

• Collect, organize, compile, catalog, cache, distribute, and retrieve data.

• Conduct assessments and gather data to support an understanding of program and stakeholder requirements.

• Accurately enter and maintain required information in databases, documents, and spreadsheets.

• Develop content for internal and external stakeholders in accordance with government requirements and approval processes.

• Support content management and development activities.

• Apply appropriate copyright procedures and laws when developing and distributing content.

• Apply Section 508 accessibility requirements and standards to applicable documentation and communication products.

• Review data and documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality.

• Collaborate with government personnel and project stakeholders to gather requirements and validate analytical products.

• Develop clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communications tailored to diverse audiences.

• Follow applicable security policies, regulations, standards, and program requirements.

LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

SENIOR DATA AND COMMUNICATION ANALYST

Requires a minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, data visualization tools, and program evaluation.

Senior-level responsibilities include:

• Synthesizing complex, incomplete, or disparate data into clear and coherent narratives.

• Developing actionable recommendations based on data analysis and program evaluation.

• Leading complex analytical and reporting efforts.

• Developing data visualizations and analytical products for diverse audiences.

• Evaluating program data, requirements, and outcomes to identify meaningful insights.

• Developing executive-level briefs, reports, presentations, and other communication products.

• Mentoring and supporting Mid-Level Data and Communication Analysts.

• Adapting communication style and analytical products to effectively engage technical, executive, and other stakeholder audiences.

• Supporting government personnel with data-driven decision-making and program evaluation activities.

• Providing guidance on analytical approaches, documentation, content development, and stakeholder communication.

MID-LEVEL DATA AND COMMUNICATION ANALYST

Requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis and data visualization tools.

Mid-Level responsibilities include:

• Conducting data analysis using information from multiple sources.

• Developing clear, accurate, and actionable analytical products.

• Creating data visualizations, reports, presentations, and summaries.

• Supporting program evaluation and ad hoc data analysis activities.

• Developing executive briefs, white papers, presentations, and other program documentation.

• Supporting content development and management activities.

• Collecting, organizing, and maintaining program data.

• Supporting the Senior Data and Communication Analyst with analytical and reporting activities.

• Communicating analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Supporting requirements gathering, assessments, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

• Applying Section 508 and copyright requirements to applicable products.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

An active Top Secret clearance is required for this position. Candidates who do not possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance will not be considered.
