We are seeking a Fill Plant Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control. 

• Operate and safely maintain equipment for trans filling gases into cylinders.

• Perform all required prefill and postfill inspections and tests before cylinders are released.

• Ensure all cylinders are adequately maintained.

• Fill cylinders or containers to proper weight or pressure.

• Ensure cylinders filling records are accurately maintained and that all required procedures are followed to comply with state and federal regulations.

• Conduct periodic plant checks for safe and efficient operation.

• Maintain neat, clean and orderly plant appearance.

• Moving multiple tanks, both loading and unloading fill racks and moving tanks to designated areas.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

• If qualified, perform backup duties as driver when necessary.

• Other duties and projects as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours, lift 15 - 65 pounds. Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

• Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

• Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.

• Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.

• Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

• Basic Mathematics - Using mathematics to resolve tank counts and resolve potential problems

We are a local medical grade gas manufacturer located in Taylorsville, Utah, established in 2011. Looking for a part-time worker, with opportunity to move into full-time position.

Responsibilities

Operate and safely maintain equipment for trans filling gases into cylinders.
Perform all required prefill and postfill inspections and tests before cylinders are released.
Ensure all cylinders are adequately maintained.
Fill cylinders or containers to proper weight or pressure.
Ensure cylinders filling records are accurately maintained and that all required procedures are followed to comply with state and federal regulations.
