About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting. Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department is preferred. Teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time feedback are essential. Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department is required. Description: This position involves working in a premier Emergency Department. The facility is recognized for its commitment to high-quality clinical care and patient safety. The Emergency Department has a typical patient ratio of 4:1 and may go up to 7:1 on behavioral holds. Staff includes Techs and Unit Clerks available during day and night shifts. Advanced medical equipment is utilized, including pumps and monitoring systems. The documentation system used in the unit is Cerner. Every other weekend commitment is required, with flexibility in scheduling to meet departmental needs. Floating to various sections within the Emergency Department is required. Patient experience is emphasized through respectful behavior and continuous communication. Required certifications must be obtained before starting and include: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, with ENPC within 90 days of hire.
