Quick Facts Location: Richmond, VA (5875 Bremo Road) Start Date: 07/13/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing/Multiple weeks (coverage for July and August) Shift: Monday–Friday, with specified weekly coverage dates Hours/week: Exact hours negotiable; expected patient volume of 12-15 per day Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology/Oncology; VA license preferred; BLS and DEA required Experience: Prior oncology/hematology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $19,500.00 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Competitive pay Weekly direct deposit pay schedule Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (per applicable laws) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology care Oversee NP supervision in clinical settings Enroll patients in research studies when applicable Cover call responsibilities during scheduled weeks Manage approximately 12-15 patients daily in a busy hospital environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including CNMs, FPOBs, RNs, and other staff Document patient care efficiently via EPIC EMR system What You Need Valid medical license in Virginia or in progress (IMLC OK if LOQ) Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology and Oncology BLS & DEA certifications At least 2 years of clinical oncology/hematology experience Strong communication and patient management skills About the Assignment Join a prominent cancer institute at a leading facility in Richmond, VA, providing mainly inpatient oncology and hematology services.
