Assurance Senior Associate

Who: A motivated audit professional with 2–4 years of public accounting experience and strong client-service skills. Full Description A well‑established and highly respected public accounting and consulting firm is seeking Assurance Senior Associates to join its Audit team. This role provides the opportunity to work across a variety of industries including manufacturing/distribution, real estate, construction, technology, transportation, private equity, financial services, staffing, and professional services. Key Responsibilities: Perform audits, reviews, benefit plan audits, and compilations. Prepare accurate GAAP‑compliant financial statements and disclosures. Document and test internal controls for various types of engagements. Support senior team members on consulting and advisory projects. Supervise, train, and mentor Associates and Interns. Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and client expectations. Identify and resolve client issues proactively. Strengthen technical skills through training, CPE, and on‑the‑job learning. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA license preferred. 2–4 years of public accounting audit experience. Industry experience in transportation, manufacturing, or construction is beneficial. Strong understanding of audit principles and proficiency in Excel. Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Engagement and IDEA is a plus. Strong communication skills, client‑service mindset, and ability to manage engagements.
